Update on the ARES FNC

Well it took a little while, but the FNC is back.
The result is, drum roll please, it now works great.
The spring replacement  is not as easy as I was told, it did take pulling the mech box from the receiver.
But the good news is that it is now shoots at 385 FPS. Perfect for the fields around here.
The other issue I had was with the 3 rd burst. The fix for that was much easier.
I just had to use a more powerful battery. I was running an older 8.4 mini and it just did not have the umpff to power the 3 rd burst. I changed to a new 9.6 nunchuck and have not had to reset the mech box again.
One other tip if you buy this, I had a hell of a time getting the fore end back on, just make sure you put the top end (front sight side) in 1st, then slide in the receiver side. Now it works like a dream.
So, my feelings on the gun.
I love it, it's not an M4, it's heavy, but it shoots great and hey, it's not an M4
Let me know if you need any more info

Coming up next the Tanaka Smith and Wesson R8 327 Heavyweight version.

Yes, I am still alive!

Well so far, I have lost my main computer and had to buy a new one, and today lost my cell phone, so as you can see I have had many impediments to posting new reviews.
I hope that is all behind me now and I can get a little better at being timely!

Reviews to come

I have also picked up some unique items to help out in the field , cheap. I will put them to the test and see how they work.

Updates on the FNC and Zombie killer project also due out, not much good news on those parts.

Stay tuned and bear with me, it will get better ( of course, I have been telling my girlfriend that for ten years)
